FACE (Family and Community Engagement)

  Tesla STEM PTSA FACE presents Mary Pat O'Neil, an independent college counselor, as she explains “How to create a college list and the importance of it being balanced?” In this hour-long presentation, she will cover:  -Resources available to create a college list -Highly selective colleges and majors -University of Washington -The three classifications of colleges in the US -The cost of college -How to research colleges -The importance of visiting colleges  Mary Pat will also answer questions after she completes the presentation. Fall Social 2022

  The 2022 Fall Social for Tesla STEM parents was a sizeable success. Organized by the PTSA and presided by FACE co-VPs Subeka Chhabra & Nisha Gidwani, it was held at Hotel Archer in Redmond. PTSA co-presidents Swarnima Aswinkumar and Vaithegi Punniamoorthy along with other Board members welcomed all the parents. Over 80 parents & guardians attended the event, and the food spread was scrumptious. The attendees had a great time with the scavenger hunt designed to foster introductions. Reflections Winners

            Reflections 2022-23 has been a successful contest for our Tesla STEM student artists this year. We had six entries across various categories of which four advanced to the LWSD council level. Two entries have won the "Outstanding Interpretation" award at the council level and advanced to the State level competition. We thank all the artists for their submission and congratulate them for making this year's Reflections successful.   Congratulations  to  Vivian Li for winning the Outstanding Interpretation award for her Visual Arts entry titled "Who is crying?".
