Thursday, December 5th at 10AM Join us for the close of the LWPTSA Council Basket Auction and Raffle. All are welcome,  invite a friend ! Complimentary coffee drinks start at 8am. Auction and Raffle are at 10am immediately after the December General Membership meeting. Screenagers Film Series Screenings
Sandburg/DCS PTSA, Thoreau Elementary PTSA and Finn Hill MS PTSA are collaborating to offer FREE of charge the Screenagers Film series. Each screening will host a discussion panel after the viewing. LWPTSA Council is sponsoring two parent education events in November: Common Sense Answers on College Admissions Presented by Anne Holmdahl This talk will cover standardized tests, extracurricular activities, summer plans and the difference between high school graduation requirements and college admission requirements. This presentation will also focus on how to research colleges, what the application process looks like, and a basic overview of financial aid.  Same talk on both dates; no RSVP required. Please help Tesla STEM create an amazing Star Wars themed basket for the annual Lake Washington PTSA Council's scholarship basket auction. Every PTSA in the Lake Washington School District submits a basket for the auction to help raise scholarships for the graduating seniors. This is a silent auction that runs from November 7th through December 5th at the Lake Washington School District Resource Center. Everyone is welcome to visit the resource center to bid on the baskets. This year, Tesla STEM PTSA, is submitting a Star Wars themed basket in honor of the end of the Star Wars saga. Important Changes to the AP Exam Ordering Deadlines & Fees
The College Board recently announced changes to the Advanced Placement (AP) exam ordering deadlines, late fees and cancellation fees that will be in effect for all students taking AP Exams in the 2019-2020 school year. To meet the new College Board ordering deadlines, LWSD students will register and pay for AP exams from October 14, 2019 through the end of the last lunch period at their school on October 25, 2019.
