Thank you to all the amazingly talented scholar-artists who shared their interpretations of the “Heroes Around Me” theme. PTSA is inspired by you! Congratulations to the following students for their winning entries at our Council level and for advancing to the State level:

  • Jeremy Yang: “The Graveyard Shift”, Honorable Mention – Visual Arts.
  • Lina Chai: “A Cape of Heroes”, Outstanding Interpretation – Visual Arts.
  • Ankita Menon: “Unknown Heroes”, Award of Merit – Literature.
  • Caitlin Lam: “Unseen Heroes”, Award of Merit - Music Composition.
  • Evan Klansnic: “The Savior”, Outstanding Interpretation - Music Composition.
  • Leonardo Ribeiro de Brito: “The Educator, a Paintbrush, and a Hero”, Outstanding Interpretation, Literature.

Artists and their works will be celebrated at the Lake Washington PTSA Council Reflections Open House & Art Show: Friday, January 11, 2019 @ 4 – 8 PM @ Lake Washington Resource Center - 16250 NE 74th ST; Redmond Town Center.

All participants and their families, friends and classmates are welcome to attend.
